Getting started

No. They open the link, type a display name and they are in — no account, no seat, no install. Guests are unlimited on every plan.
No — it runs in the browser. The desktop app adds the always-on-top window, drawing on a real screen and a menu-bar icon. Download for macOS or Windows
Both macOS builds are signed and notarized by Apple, so they open normally. Seeing this means an old copy is being opened: download the current one from the downloads page. If it still appears, open it once, then go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway. Once only.
Press New room in your workspace, or type /roomore in any Slack channel. Both hand you a room and a shareable link on the spot. More on Slack
Any current Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Floating the call out of the tab needs Chrome or Edge; the desktop app has its own window on every platform.
Six: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Russian. It follows your browser unless you pick one in Settings.
In the call
Everyone in the call is a round video tile that floats above your other windows. No grid, no full-screen takeover — the call sits beside the work instead of replacing it.
No. Roomore hears that you are in the same physical room, keeps only the microphone nearest whoever is speaking, and warns the second laptop before it joins rather than ten minutes in. How that works
Yes. Put the slides on one monitor and the terminal on the other, both live at once; the grid lays itself out around whatever is being shown.
Yes, from the desktop app. Your strokes land on the sharer’s real display in your own bubble colour, so everyone is pointing at the same pixel.
Blur it, replace it, or add a camera filter. You set it once in Settings and it follows you into every call, on every plan.
Every room has one. Links and notes typed while a meeting is being recorded are kept alongside the transcript, so nothing pasted mid-call is lost.
Transcripts and notes
No. Nothing is recorded until somebody in the room presses Record. Everyone then sees that it is running, and it stops on its own when the last person leaves.
Only the people who were in that meeting. Being there is what grants access — the rest of the workspace never sees it.
A minute or two after you hang up: an overview, a section per subject, the decisions and the action items — on a Summary tab beside the full transcript.
They are written automatically from the transcript, so they can get things wrong — names especially. The speaker-labelled transcript sits on the next tab, so any line can be checked against what was said.

Back in the conversation the call started from, and as a direct message to everyone who was there. People who were not in the call are not messaged.
Plans and billing
The meetings. Unlimited rooms, guests, screen sharing, bubbles and camera filters, with no card and no time limit. See the plans
Remembering the meeting — transcripts, summaries and the archive. Pro is €20 a month, Ultra €50, and Ultra adds Catch me up and the AI integrations.
Per workspace. Add as many people as you like and the price does not move — there are no seats to count.

Recorded meetings and the transcripts made from them: 160 hours a month on Pro, 500 on Ultra. Meetings nobody records do not count against them.
During early access the code Earlybird gives you a month of Pro, free. It is billed monthly after that and you can cancel any time.
Privacy and your data
The call itself is carried live and not kept. What survives a recorded meeting is the transcript, the written summary and the chat from that window. Read the policy
A short list, each named in the privacy policy: live media, transcription, transactional email and hosting. Slack and Notion receive only what you connect them to.
