A clearer wait for locked rooms, plus links in chat

A new screen shows your status while you wait to enter a locked room. Chat links now open in your browser, and the small call window in Chrome and Edge has call controls.

What's included

  1. Know what is happening at the door

The waiting screen shows the room name, the number of people inside and whether you are waiting, being admitted or have been declined. Set your microphone and camera before you enter; those settings carry into the call.

  2. Open links from chat

Addresses starting with https://, http:// or www. become clickable. Above someone's bubble, a link appears as its site name to fit on one line.

  3. Control calls when you switch tabs

In Chrome and Edge, the small call window now includes leave, chat, screen share, recording, microphone, camera, raised hand and reactions. Arrows let you browse the faces when more than four people join.

  4. Spot quick rooms

A Quick badge identifies rooms that disappear when everyone leaves. Their menu now offers join, copy link and delete.

  5. Keep the Windows window fitted

Moving the floating call window to a monitor with a different display scale no longer stops it resizing to fit the people in the call.
